Who We Are

Garden Route Back and Neck Centre is a pain management center and we are delighted to introduce you to our evidence-based approach to servicing your needs.

At our center, we utilize DBC (Documentation Based Care) technology, a program that has been successfully transforming the lives of individuals for the past two decades in South Africa.

DBC is a well established, scientifically proven method for the conservative care of a wide range of back and neck pain conditions. With our commitment to the latest advancements in healthcare, we've integrated this innovative approach into our practice to ensure that you receive the most effective evidence-based treatment available.

Meet the Team

Your program is personalized to you your needs and condition and is co-ordinated by our team of professional specialists offering an holistic approach to your

pain management and prevention.

DOCTOR

The doctor assesses the specific area of pain in your back and neck to rule out any surgical risk factors. This evaluation ensures that you, as the patient, can safely undergo treatment through exercise and physiotherapy.

The doctor also decides on the duration of treatment needed to restore and improve your condition. This determination is based on the use of questionnaires, range of motion measurements via DBC machines, and neurological assessments to diagnose the source of your pain.

BIOKINETICIST

Biokinetics is a field of exercise science that focuses on improving physical functioning through tailored exercise regimens. Biokineticists often work with individuals who have medical conditions or injuries, striving to improve their overall health and well-being. Within the DBC network the biokineticists evaluate your range of motion on the DBC equipment. Prescribe rehabilitative exercises and monitor your progress.
